July 1st–At the start of today’s business day, contributions received in June for the Medical Program totaled $2,937. The Medical Program requires an additional $49,563 to fulfill its annual budget over the next 9 months.

June 26–Two generous contributions were received today through Matching Gifts Programs by businesses in New Jersey and Illinois. Thank you Joshua and Robert for making these happen. These contributions will be applied towards Student Sponsorship and Operations.

At the start of today’s business day, a total of $1,977 has been received for June donations to the Medical Program. The Medical Program is currently this month’s MFC Program Of The Month.

Due to recent demands for extraordinary expenses, after the first 3 months of the current fiscal year, the Medical Program requires an additional $50,523 over the next 9 months to meet the annual budget’s spending needs.

The past few days have seen a notable increase of interest in the automatic payment plans.

Several students have recently become sponsored through the Student Sponsorship Monthly Automatic Contribution Plans.

And several other contributors are setting up automatic payment plans for the Food and Milk Program.

At the close of the business day May 31, the Operations Program reported $3,202 in contributions received for the month.

Thank you to the MFC Program of the Month fund raising drive and to all who continue to support the work of Mayan Families.

The May results bring the Operations budget slightly out of line with the fiscal year underway. The fiscal year is 16% complete and the Operations Program is just over 13% complete of its required annual fund raising budget.

An additional $112,380 is required over the next 10 months to fulfill the forecast budget for this Program.

May 23–A generous contribution was received today through a Matching Gifts Program by a business in Connecticut, US. Thank you Patti R for making this happen. This contribution will significantly help raise funds for the Operations Program.

• SAN JORGE SCHOOL CLASSROOM–contributions have been received to support 86% of the total construction needs to complete the one story classroom. An additional $1,560 is required to complete this project.

May 14th 8amMST–Yesterday we created automatic recurring contribution payment plans for 2 people. This has raised the count of recurring payment plans to 3. This is highly encouraging and warmly received. Names are protected in the interest of privacy. • MOTHERS DAY BASKETS–a total of 271 food baskets have been made possible through contributions to the Food and Milk Program. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this new project and helping to provide healthy food to needy people in such a nice way.
• FIRST AUTOMATIC CONTRIBUTION PAYMENT PLAN–the first contributor has taken advantage of the automatic contribution services offered through the new web site. An impoverished family with a sponsored student will now be receiving a steady supply of healthy food. The sponsor defined how they would like to make their payments and a Contribute button was programmed to match their desired plan. The plan specified a fixed amount of payment to occur every 7 days starting whenever the customized Contribute button was selected. Amounts, time intervals, and purposes can vary to fit other desired automatic contribution payment plans. Plans can be terminated whenever requested. We thank this sponsor for trusting in the work of Mayan Families and making this commitment to the Food and Milk Program.

Here is a partial list of fund raising status on a few of the current goals.

• AMELIA’S HOUSE — For actual donations received, we are at 62% of the immediate goal. Another $2,892 is required to meet the necessary expenses for the purchase of Amelia’s house. Thanks to everyone who has been contributing towards this cause. And a special Thank You to TG for an especially large contribution this week.
• MEDICAL PROGRAM — For actual donations received, we are at 3% of the forecast annual budget for Medical. An additional $40,225 over the next 11 months is required to meet the forecast annual need.
• MOTHERS DAY – As of this morning, we have received contribution payments for a total of 98 food basket gifts for Mothers Day.
